What's the difference between an authoritative parent and an authoritarian parent?

Im kinda confused on where strict parents are categorized. Those parents who are really strict with certain rules and punishments but behind the strict face is a concerned and loving parent. What's the difference between an authoritative parent and an authoritarian parent?
Authoritarians are basically like nazis and demand obedience no matter what, even if it won't exactly help the child.

Authoritative is a parent who listens, but still uses fear and threats to bully the child into behaving.

All in all they are both cr*p.What's the difference between an authoritative parent and an authoritarian parent?
Authoritarian parents impose rules and expect obedience

Authoritative parents are both demanding and responsive. They exert control not only be setting rules and enforcing them but also explaining the reasons and, especially with older children, encouraging open discussion and allowing exceptions when making the rules.

the other style of parenting is permissive where parents submit to their children's desires, make few demands, and use little punishment.
Authoritative have rules that are expected to be followed but the child has input as well.

Authoritarian is more like a dictatorship, the parent does not accept input from the child.
authoritative ';is the boss'; but respects discussion

the authoritarian is more of a dictactor
In my opinion none. They are both bad examples of parenting.
