Wife has provided funds for nursing home care. Husband has since had a heart attack but is recovering nicely. Wife has now passed on. Brother is willing to move into his home %26amp; provide care for his (brothers) few remaining days he has left. Children %26amp; grandchildren say no way.Can a parent be forced to live in a nursing home after signing a power of attorney form?
No you said recovering nicely, so they power of attorney is null. Only if the parent was totally mentally unable to make decisions. Like in a coma or demented.
