What happens when fosterchild biological parent claims they on taxes?

I' am a resourse parent unable to claim fosterchild because biological parent has claim they on their taxes for the whole year, children have not live with parents since they have been placed with me.What happens when fosterchild biological parent claims they on taxes?
Verify with the IRS that you are eligible to claim the children. If yes, file the tax return and show them on your return.





If the bio-parents have erroneously filed with them when they shouldn't, they will lose the exemptions and will be requried to return any refund they got by claiming them.What happens when fosterchild biological parent claims they on taxes?
I'm new to foster parenting, but who has custody. And are you compensated or reimbursed for fostering?
