If a parent has complete heterochromia of the eye is it possible for the child to inherit it?

Assuming that it's not a consequence of trauma, disease, or Chimera?

I know someone who has two children with heterochromia, one without. All of them tested negative for any of the diseases that normally cause it.If a parent has complete heterochromia of the eye is it possible for the child to inherit it?
Huskies inherit it, so probably humans can too. It might be more of a ';predisposition'; than simple inheritance.
