Is a parent libel if they knowingly allow their child to slander an adult in public?

Children have been calling my husband a pervert at the community pool without justification. Their parents are there witnessing, but say nothing. This has caused emotional stress to both him and I. We ask the parents to have their children stop, but they do nothing. Is the parent then libel? Is a parent libel if they knowingly allow their child to slander an adult in public?
If the children are under the age of 18, then the parent is responsible for their actions, including slander. I would also watch your husband closely to see if he is doing things or making gestures that he may seem harmless but to the children, they may find them inappropriate. Is a parent libel if they knowingly allow their child to slander an adult in public?
plain and simple no, however you can file for harrassment, my guess is that will either stop it or make it much much worse. If you do get the law involved, make sure they dont know where u live, or if they do put up cameras because that could turn ugly. A bunch of kids I know would burn up your lawn with gasoline
Why are they saying that? Like different children from different families? Well, when people are acting like a bunch of kids sometimes the only thing to do is act like a kid back and start having all the kids call all the days perverts that way it doesn't mean anything to be called one anymore.
Better to ask a lawyer
